San Francisco Program

Our original San Francisco Program takes place at St. Ignatius College Preparatory in the Sunset neighborhood. Our first cohort started in Spring 2018 and completed the program in Spring 2019. We currently have a second cohort enrolled on course to graduate in Spring 2020. Below are some logistics of the program:

Time: 4:30-5:30pm (doors will open at 4:00 for students to do homework)

Location: St. Ignatius College Preparatory (2001 37th Ave)

Cost: FREE

Eligibility: Must be a current 6th or 7th grade student (see demographics section of application)

You will:

  • Learn about politics, leadership, and advocacy.
  • Understand the formation of the US government
  • Discuss major events in history and their effects on specific people
  • Complete a final project on an event in history
  • Meet new friends.

Please Note: The program is FREE; Snack will be provided. Students are responsible for transportation to and from the camp.
